The food was delicious. loved the ambience. Great food for great price. My family enjoyed the lunch here. Variety of menu options. Must visit place. My favourite dish was Nasi Goreng. It was a hit. Sydney was our server. She gave us wonderful service and thanks to Chef Hanson for the yummy food.
A Hidden Gem! This place is an absolute hidden gem—cozy, bright, and welcoming. Our server, Ruby, was incredibly personable and a true delight, adding to the warm atmosphere. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented with vibrant colors. I was especially impressed by the option for gluten-free toast. Portions are generous, and the prices are very reasonable. Highly recommend!
The food here is so fantastic. The sweet fries are perfectly crispy, and the beef dip is amazing, savoury and rich in flavour. The servers are also so kind and the atmosphere has a more personal feel as it’s local!
We had the pleasure of trying out Potpourri Bistro, a charming new locally-owned restaurant in Cochrane, Alberta, and it was an absolute delight from start to finish. We stopped in for breakfast and were blown away by the quality and creativity of the dishes. The Nashville Benedict, one of their specials, was a standout — perfectly poached eggs with just the right kick of spice, balanced beautifully with fresh ingredients and thoughtful presentation. We also tried a few other dishes, and every plate was full of flavor and made with care. Our kids loved their meals and were especially thrilled with the special treat they received at the end — such a thoughtful touch that made the experience even more memorable for them (and us!). The warm, welcoming atmosphere and genuine hospitality made us feel right at home. You can tell the owners are passionate about their food and their community.
Awesome! Food was great. Ingredients were fresh. Looked and tasted yummy! Portions could be better(as per my husband who ordered eggs Benedict) Service was great! Definitely added to our list of repeat eateries. Spoke to the owner/chef and had to compliment him.
Potpurri Bistro is a fantastic new gem in our town! We decided to order Easter takeout from them and were truly impressed. They offered a variety of preset meal options, each carefully curated with generous portions that left everyone delighted. Every bite was packed with flavor, and the quality of the food exceeded expectations. Since the restaurant was busy, we opted to stay and enjoy a quick appetizer. Despite the rush, the service remained friendly and efficient, ensuring a pleasant experience from start to finish. What truly sets Potpurri Bistro apart is its commitment to affordability without compromising quality. The pricing is incredibly reasonable given the amazing flavors and portion sizes. I had the pleasure of enjoying lunch at Potpourri bistro in Cochrane and it was an experience worth raving about! I ordered the crispy chicken burger, and it exceeded every expectation. The flavors were balanced beautifully. I also ordered their chocolate lava cake, which was absolutely divine. Rich, and warm, left the perfect sweet finish to the meal. I even had the chance to meet the chef, and it was great to see how much passion and pride he puts into the food. Highly recommend Potpourri if you're in Cochrane and craving a delicious, well-crafted meal with a cozy and welcoming vibe!
Reviewed for community paper, The Cochrane Post: rating: Several people recommended this restaurant that opened last Fall and I finally went for lunch with a colleague. Fantastic! I am delighted to provide a 5-star review for their excellent fresh food, outstanding service and good prices. Definitely book in advance for lunch since it’s quite busy with all the tables full over the mid-day rush; my neighbours go regularly for breakfast without reservations. It’s a small, casual restaurant with a nice clean design, high ceiling and lots of windows so it feels open and bright. The booths are a nice touch, very comfortable and give it a bit of a modern diner vibe. There’s lots of street parking along 1st Street and also a small parking lot right outside their main door. Extensive menu with all day breakfast and also lunch, dinner and full bar. I liked how my Mimosa came with a mini bottle of prosecco so it was fresh and bubbly and enough for 2 glasses! The food was really good – fresh, hot and very flavourful. I can recommend the Veggie Burger, hand-cut super fresh fries and salad with balsamic dressing. My colleague enjoyed her French Onion Soup and Fish & Chips. WOW! The Triple Mousse Dessert, the best dessert I've had in a while – really great chocolate cake with to-die-for 2 layers of mouse, very light, not too sweet and just the right way to finish after a nice dinner. I love it. I’m looking forward to going back and I know you’ll like it too.
